Titan started its SMITE journey in December 2014 by recruiting the well-known Cognitive Gaming Team roster Aquila, securing the lineup of Nate “Ataraxia” Mark, Andreas “KanyeLife” Christmansson, Emil “PrettyPriMe” Edström, Thomas “Repikas” Skallebaek, and Kevin “Confrey” Confrey.
Titan, then known as Agilitas, was originally founded after the SMITE Launch Tournament at the start of the SMITE Pro league qualifier in 2013. Although having had a decent result during the 10 week qualifier, the team came in just shy of placement in SPL kick-off, prompting a roster change to include Thomas “Repikas” Skallebaek as the new team jungler.
Still not willing to give up on the dream of a spot in the SMITE World Championship, the team instead played its way through the Challenger Cup, placing 1st seven weeks in a row. With the help of coach/manager Job “CaptCoach” Hilbers and coach/analyst Erik “Omgimabird” Sjösten the team then went on to being picked up by Cognitive Gaming, winning the European Wildcards in October 2014 as Aquila.
Going into the EU Regionals Aquila was considered the underdog of the tournament, but after a truly clutch opening game against Cloud9 the team went on to win out their first bo3, followed up by beating the fan favorite Fnatic 3-2 in the semi-finals and ultimately clean sweeping SK 2-0 to take home the SMITE European Regionals crown.
In the 2015 SMITE World Championship Titan got a chance to prove themselves against some of the top teams in the world, ultimately falling to Cognitive Prime in the grand finals but proudly securing a 2nd place finish.
In August 2015 Job “CaptCoach” Hilbers left the team in seach for new challenges, and the following month saw the team part ways with Kevin “Confrey” Confrey, being replaced by the up-and-coming talent of Nicklas "Brotuz" Petersen.
In 2016, Titan indefinitely shut down its operations, including its SMITE division.
